Kellen Moore threw for five more TD passes friday night against Nevada. He now has 38 on the season and only three interceptions. No other FBS quarterback has better numbers - not Colt McCoy, not Tim Tebow, not Case Keenum.
He also passed Bart Hendricks' mark of 34 TD passes in a single season set back in 2000 - Moore still has two games left to add to his record.
Moore is the leader of an undefeated and possibly BCS bound team - thanks to Oklahoma's domination over Oklahoma State. He leads the nation in passing efficiency and is tied for most TD passes with Houston's Case Keenum.
While it seems like a long shot for Moore to win the Heisman, he has made a strong case to be invited to New York. As a college football fan I think it would be a travesty is he's not invited. BRONCO NATION can help him get there and it's crucial that WE help to defend our quarterback and gain him the attention he deserves.
Moore should move up in ESPN's Heisman Watch this week. Here's the link.

Moore not among finalists for Davey O'Brien
Boise State sophomore quarterback Kellen Moore was not named as one of the finalists for the Davey O'Brien award which is given to the nations top quarterback.
The three selected were Tim Tebow of Florida, Colt McCoy of Texas, and Case Keenum of Houston.
Moore might not be a Davey O'Brien finalist, but he can still make it to New York.
Last week against Utah State, Moore had his worst game of the season. Moore threw for 233 yards and one touchdown. 323 yards rushing kept Moore from having the throw the ball.
YOU can still help Moore to get to New York by voting here.

Kellen making his case for Heisman
Boise State sophomore quarterback Kellen Moore has moved into 6th place in ESPN's Heisman Watch. He is closing the gap too. Moore has two 1st place votes and remains only only 1-point and 2-points behind Texas' Colt McCoy and Florida's Tim Tebow.
With a little luck, and a few more games with 3+ touchdowns, Moore could find himself on a plane headed for Manhattan, New York.
The Broncos' next two games will be nationally televised on ESPN against Utah State this Friday night and Nevada the following Friday. This gives Moore a chance to showcase his talent to the nation and the Heisman voters.
Moore's stats are hard to overlook. He leads the nation in touchdown passes and passing efficiency. His touchdown to interception is second best in the nation with 30 TD's and only 3 INT's.

Mets' season over after loss of Santana
It's not easy being a New York Mets fan right now, and after today's news of their best pitcher Johan Santana needed elbow surgery to remove bone fragments things just got a lot worse in Queens, NY.
You can all but put a fork in the Mets after this unfortunate news, which is sad because a lot of people had picked the Mets to the one of the if not the best team in the National League to start the season. Personally, I feel bad for the Mets because of the great team they would've had if not for injury's.

Gators Overrated?
I know that Florida returned every player on a defense that was one of the best in the country and I also realize that they have a Heisman trophy winning quarterback in Tim Tebow, but what Florida doesn't have is a constant go-to playmaker on offense.
I think that the loss of Percy Harvin to graduation really hurts the Gators' offense because he was the focal point of that offense for the last two years. I'm not worried about Florida not being able to reload because they're stacked with more talent than any team in the country, but no matter who they put in to replace Harvin won't be as good as Harvin was.
Playing in the SEC is not easy and if Tebow thinks he can do it all by himself than he's on something. Injury is somthing that is over serious concern to Urban Meyer and should be a concern for all of Gator Nation.
